What this tool does
Calculate the final modulo-10 check digit for 7-, 11-, 12- or 13-digit GTIN bases. The result is intended for planning, checking or documentation. It does not assign identifiers, register products, certify barcode quality, or prove compliance with GS1, ISO/IEC, sector or trading-partner requirements.
Before using the result
- Confirm the object you are identifying: trade item, logistic unit, asset, location or internal stock record.
- Keep internal identifiers separate from official external identifiers.
- Verify production data against current official standards and your trading partners.
- Test real printed or marked samples in the actual scanning environment.
